Sorry, for the title; I'm listening to some gangsta.
Hey kids! I know it's been a while, but you all know, I have been wayyyy busy! This opening up a
yarn shop is hard work.
So today is my birthday! Forgive me if I go a little maudlin or introspective here.
This is my last year in my twenties. (Well, technically 30 is the last year of the decade, but this is the last year I'll have a 2 in the tens place.) I feel like I'm in the right spot. For once I really like I've accomplished enough to earn my age. I've spent the morning reminiscing and reflecting on the last couple of years, which have been
so full. I've had so much joy and quite a few heartaches. There has been a lot of fight going on. All the family illnesses, personal relationship troubles, and job issues have been worth it to get to my current position. I've got the best husband ever, good friends, a healthy family (KNOCK! KNOCK!) and a beautiful yarn shop. Life is good and every moment is precious and appreciated for "Gam zeh ya'avor."
